Community Supported Agriculture

Organic Yoga is now working with Shared Roots Farm to offer fresh, local and organic produce to our community.

What is CSA? Community Supported Agriculture is when consumers support a local farm directly. Members of a farm's CSA pay up-front in the spring when farmers need money for seed, supplies and equipment. In return members receive a weekly share in the farm's harvest.

Who are we? Bret and Stephanie fell in love with farming in 2007. Now in our 6th year as a certified organic CSA and with two kids in tow, we're cultivating 10+ acres of diversified vegetables in Cortland County, NY.

What's in a share? Throughout our 20 week summer season (8 week winter), members get a variety of certified organic vegetables, picked at their peak and a stronger connection to where, how and who grows their food.

Winter shares may contain: winter squash, potatoes, onions, garlic, beets, turnips, rutabaga, radish, carrots, kohlrabi, celeriac, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, kale, swiss chard, spinach, lettuce, pea shoots

Shared Roots Farm is certified organic by NOFA-NY.
